Rhythm of Light 波光

The apartment is located alongside the riverbank. We took out old walls to create an open living space along the river to allow people living within this space can always dialogue with the nature.

We apply dark elements such as shelves, shadow gaps to separate white elements from walls and ceilings to create the freedom and dynamic of space. The double curved ceiling elements waving across the apartment to indicate different zones of living. The curved form and the special paint texture allow the surface to reflect the light and the color of outdoor natural light and bring it into interior to change the atmosphere. We bring the unique sense of time and soul into this home to echo with river’s waves danced and sparkled.

我們將住宅的原有格局打破，創造出空間裡的線性序列感。讓生活空間可以沿著河畔的方向鋪成展開，使生活得以與河流和自然景觀有最親切的對話關係，將自然引進家中生活的每一個片刻、每一個角落。

我們用深色塊體與溝縫去切開淺色的表面，讓如河水波光般的立體曲面天花元素得以自由伸展，成為空間中最具有手感與時間感的焦點。沿著河岸分布，每一片的曲面天花投射著不同的生活領域，在律動間著引領著生活從公共區的玄關客廳漸層到私密的臥房區。空間的質感是律動的紋理，透過金屬的映射與塗料的渲染，去捕捉戶外自然陽光帶進室內的萬千表情與色澤，是呼應河水的波光粼粼，也是賦予家中獨特的時間感與生命力。
